The system includes a wireless transmitter, a wireless receiver, seven antennas, a USB-C adapter, a DC power adapter, and an adjustable shoe adapter mount. The transmitter provides HDMI and SDI inputs and features an extremely low latency of 50ms that accepts line-of-sight transmission up to 1300 feet away to the included receiver. When using broadcast mode using up to four handsets and two mobile devices, the system supports up to 650 feet of distance. The receiver outputs over HDMI and SDI.

Each Pyro S unit is equipped with a USB-C port that can power the unit, and also supports plug-and-play UVC operation, so it can seamlessly connect to a computer and use wireless video for video applications. streaming and conferences. A built-in frequency scanner allows you to select the clearest frequency for transmission and has a bright LCD display for setup. In addition to the multi-function USB-C port, each unit can be powered using a separately available locking DC power adapter or an L-series battery using an optional battery plate.

Pyro S Wi-Fi transmission technology allows one transmitter to connect to four receivers with stable signals, providing greater flexibility as additional on-set monitoring needs arise. When Broadcast mode is activated, the transmitter can transmit signals to up to four receivers and the line of sight range reaches 200m. When Broadcast mode is turned off, the transmitter can transmit signals to up to two receivers and two mobile devices, and the line-of-sight range extends up to 400m.

With a stable transmission range of up to 1300', Pyro S features a latency of only 50ms. Compared to the Mars series, whose transmission range extends at the expense of image quality and latency, Pyro S excels with a longer transmission distance while preserving video quality and minimizing latency. The transmitter/receiver combination also offers users two modes to balance image quality and latency, with HD mode for improved image quality with bitrates up to 12 Mb/s and Smooth mode for dynamic latency change .
