DAC ES9039SPro

The ES 9039SPro DAC chip from ESS is the current flagship of the brand, allowing an efficient and precise decoding. This chip allows it to reach a THD+N lower than 0.00008% @ 1Khz and a dynamic range of 128 db on the RCA output as well as a THD+N of 0.00006% @ 1Khz and a dynamic range of 133dB for the XLR output.

Moreover, these chips support high sampling rates, allowing you to enjoy your PCM files up to 32bit 768kHz and DSD up to DSD512 Native.

New I/V converter

The D70 Pro features a new converter to achieve excellence in audio reproduction. This circuit design allows for very low distortion and noise.

  
Bluetooth 5.1

This DAC supports the best Bluetooth formats such as LDAC, aptx-Adaptive and apt XHD. High resolution files can be transmitted to it for a superb listening experience, all with the convenience of wireless.

Plug and Play: a very wide compatibility

The D70 Pro has a wide system compatibility; Windows 10, Windows 11, Mac OS, Linux, IOS, Android. Just connect it to your audio source and start playing music. The USB plug is based on the XMOS XU316 chip and a custom Thesycon driver and is therefore very stable.

A driver and a parameterization is necessary for the ASIO application on windows.

 
 
Connections & Features

With its multitude of features and connections, the D70 PRO from Topping will fit into the vast majority of audio systems, offering many options for use and installation. On the input side, the device offers AES/EBU, Coaxial SPDIF, Optical Toslink and USB.

On the output side, we find balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA. The D70 PRO allows you to select the output so as to send the audio stream only on one of them or on both at the same time.

In addition, the XLR 4V and RCA 2V outputs can be boosted to XLR 5V and RCA 2.5V.

  
Integrated preamp function

The D70 PRO also provides the function of a preamplifier since it has a volume controller. This volume control function can however be deactivated in order to be able to use the D70 Pro only as a DAC with output levels constantly at their maximums, i.e. 4Vrms for the XLR output and 2Vrms for the RCA output.

 
Customizable Filters

The D70 Pro allows you to switch from one mode to another easily. So you can switch from the default mode to the valve mode or the transistor mode quickly and enjoy a different listening experience. If you want to experiment with other types of sounds you can also adjust the different timbres to your taste.

 
12V trigger option

This function allows the D70 PRO to be controlled or to control other devices in order to turn on and off simultaneously.

 
A new screen with integrated controls

A new color screen is integrated in the D70 Pro as well as 3 control buttons for a better experience. Moreover this screen can display some information (FTT and VU) according to your needs and desires.
