Topping E70 adopts ESS SABER flagship DAC ES9028PRO, which has 8-channel 32-bit HyperStream II architecture. In Topping E70, 4 channels are connected in parallel as one channel, achieving high performance and sound quality, with extremely low THD+N values ​​and high SNR.

Brand new I/V conversion circuit
Topping has designed a brand new I/V conversion circuit to achieve better quality audio reproduction, less distortion and less noise.

Bluetooth LDAC 24bit96kHz transmission

The Topping E70 is Hi-Res Audio Wireless and LDAC certified. It uses the newest QCC5125 chipset to support LDAC/AAC/SBC/aptX/aptX LL/aptX HD/aptX Adaptive protocol via Bluetooth 5.1.

To get even better audio quality from Bluetooth, we abandon the built-in QCC5125 DAC and connect its digital signal to ES9028PRO for decoding.

New XMOS XU136 USB processor

Topping E70's USB input has a wide range of compatibility: Windows 10, Windows 11, MAC, Linux, iOS, Android and is plug and play. For Windows ASIO applications only, you need to install the driver and configure it. The USB hardware is based on the newest customized XMOS XU136 driver and Thesycon (applicable to Windows; other systems are driverless), which is stable and reliable.

Coaxial and Optical (Toslink)

Topping E70's optical and coaxial input supports audio up to PCM24bit192kHz and DSD Dop64, suitable for digital turntables, disc players or game consoles.

Auto on/off function

Topping E70 has an automatic On/Off function. This means that it will automatically turn on and default to the input whenever a valid signal is provided. When the active input signal is not active for 1 minute, the Topping E70 will automatically switch off.

12V trigger interface

The Topping E70 features a 12V Trigger interface, which has both active control and passive control. With a 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable, the Topping E70 can be synchronously turned on and off with other devices that have a 12V Trigger interface. This is really handy, especially when used with amps, like the Topping L70.

Selectable XLR+RCA output options

The Topping E70 has balanced XLR output and single-ended RCA output ports. You can easily choose the output "XLR only", "RCA only" or "XLR+RCA". The XLR output level can be changed from 4V to 5V and the RCA output can be changed from 2V to 2.5V.

Preamplifier function

In addition to the DAC mode with a fixed output level, the Topping E70 also features a DAC+preamp mode. In this mode, you can control the output volume from -99dB to 0dB by rotary knob or remote control.
